Cd's have arrived!!
Today I came in from gardening and saw 7 boxes stacked up by the front door. Mom smiled and said "grab a knife". So I ran to the boxes and cut them open to find hundreds of my CD's all wrapped up and stacked inside. Rows and rows of colorful CD's! I'm so excited to start getting these out to everyone! They look so amazing thanks to everyone who helped! Now I have something amazing to sell at my gigs or to show off to friends or even just to say "look what I accomplished". It was a lot of hard work and I still have a lot of hard work in front of me, but I know it'll all be worth it. I'm so glad I've decided to take the risk :]
My Bucket List
So about a month ago I decided to create a Bucket List. A bucket list is simply a list of things you really want to accomplish in life. This can be things you want to accomplish in your area of work, adventures you want to have around the world, just random, or small things you want to do around your hometown. It just all depends on how crazy you want to go with it and if you want to realistically accomplish everything on your list and play it safe. I decided to be really random with it and do a bit of everything! Which seems to be how I am in every aspect of my life...

Discovering a New Band
So this last Friday, my brothers and I went to go see Jack's Mannequin at The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs. And I fell in love with the opening band. They were so quirky and they really knew how to capture an audience. They told the background story or idea behind their songs, they offered a temporary tattoo to anyone who would submit an idea for a title to their next album and they even took a picture of the group, put it on their Facebook page and told everyone from the concert to tag themselves in it. They were honestly one the best I have ever seen in the way that they got everyone in the audience to participate and feel like they were intimately connected with the group themselves. I want to make everyone who hears my music feel like that! Because that's what it's all about anyway, right?

Books on my list to read
I'm currently reading "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand and I LOVE it! And it makes me realize how much I truly love to read. So I decided to make a list of books that I need to read after this one.
"On The Road" by Jack Kerouac
"Anthem" by Ayn Rand
"Life of Pi" by Yann Martel
"The Invention of Everything Else" by Samantha Hunt
"Radiohead and Philosophy" by Forbes and Reisch
"Talking to Girls About Duran Duran" by Rob Sheffield
Oh and the Whole Lord of the Rings series!
If anyone has suggestions, please leave them here for me :]

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

It's all the little things
Some people go through this life without actually noticing that they're living. I want to make it my new project to make sure that I'm living, that I'm taking note, that I'm appreciating the small thing. Because it's all the little things that really make us happy.
