Big News!!

I finally got the website up! It looks so good!!
A special thank you to my uncle, Howard Lyon, for being such a help! He's awesome. He's an amazing artist and he works from home and his studio is fantastic. I want to be an amazing artist! Maybe one day.. but he designs for Dungions and Dragons and the Star Wars: Old Republic game that will be coming out soon and stuff like that and then religious stuff haha it's kinda funny. He had to split the site into two sections so Jesus wasn't next to Jaba the Hut haha
But! The website! It's www.lexilyon.com  and I'm very proud of it :]  from this site, you can subscribe to my newsletter that I'll start to send out now, buy my CD, listen to my music, read when my next gig is, contact me to have me play at your pool party or whatever! It's pretty nifty. I love it. Go take a peek :]

And! Also big news... as of Saturday...    I'M ON ITUNES! check it out!

This week's been pretty exciting :]  I've been really busy, but it's all paying off! Crazy how that works sometimes haha  but it's all very exciting and I can't believe I'm only 19 and I have a CD on iTunes! :D

Back in the day

So I'm out here in the Arizona heat visiting family and working on my music website with my uncle. Pfew! It was 115 outside the other day. And no one seemed to notice that that was insane except for me! They kept calling me "Colorado Sister". I guess I haven't really lived here since I was 11. I'm not used to it and I can only handle it for about a week at a time. Usually we visit during the winter (smart family) but I decided that I needed my graphic design uncle's help on this so I'm here for a week. And I'm cooking alive!!
I am getting a lot done though. The website's looking so good :]
And it's always fun to reminisce in this place. I was such a little twerp! I keep remembering little things when I pass places I remember growing up. Flag football in the retention basin, walking to Sonic with the cousins, regretting walking to Sonic in the heat with the cousins, trying to fry eggs on the black top, catching ladybugs in the spring, laying down in the street in the warm summer rain..
Here's a picture of me, my dad and my brothers back in the Mesa, Arizona days.
